Death Notice: Mrs. Ruth Hostetter

Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Ruth C. A. Keene Hostetter, age 92, on December 29, 2010.  She was the wife of the Rev. Dr. Mark J. Hostetter, retired Elder.

Rev. Hostetter served the following appointments beginning in 1938: Alpha Methodist Protestant (Ohio); Statton Memorial United Brethren (MO); Lincoln Park: Community; Reading: Zion; Sinking Spring; Annville; Elizabethtown: St. Paul’s; Extension Ministry: Lancaster District Superintendent; and Morrisville.  He retired in 1979.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Annville United Methodist Church, East Main Street and N. College Avenue, Annville, PA 17003.   A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to the service.

She is survived by her husband, Mark, a stepson, Sidney M. Hostetter, and nieces and nephews.
