Death Notice: The Rev. Reeves C. Havens

Word has been received of the death of The Rev. Reeves C. Havens, Retired Elder, who passed away on November 9, 2010.  

Rev. Havens served the following appointments: Extension Ministry in NJ; Pittston: ST. Paul’s; Skiner’s Eddy; Wyalusing; Chenango Bridge (all in Wyo. Conf.); Nome AK (Missional Pastor); Ketchikan, AK; Nichols, NY (Wyo. Conf.); Extension Ministry: Phila: Chaplain, Methodist Hospital; Former Lancaster: Broad St. (now Christ); and Extension Ministry, Chaplain, Cornwall Manor.  He retired in 1978.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 12, at West View UMC, 7107 West View Drive, Fairview, TN 37062.  

He is survived his wife, Geraldine, and by four children:  Allan Havens, Lyndal H. Lovett, Rane Wise and Maia Havens.
