Death Notice: Rev. J. Louise Thatcher

Word has been received of the death of The Rev. J. Louise Thatcher, who died on Friday, October 22, 2010.  

Rev. Thatcher served the following appointments: former Glendon; former Nazareth: Trinity; Shenandoah: First; and William Penn.  She retired in 1988.

She is survived by her sons Daniel, Craig, and Jason; a sister, Susanne Sumerfield of Mount Joy (wife of The Rev. Allan Sumerfield, Sr. of the EPA Conference); nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  

Services were held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Fritz Memorial UMC.

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Mr. Jason Thatcher, 201 N. Sprague Avenue, Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, PA  18704. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church, 309 W. Packer Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18105.
