Death Notice: Rev. Jon Swenson

Word has been received of the death of the Rev. Jon Eric Swenson, retired Elder, age 68, who passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 14, 2010.

Rev. Swenson served the following appointments beginning in 1966: Collingdale: Mariner’s, Phila.: Wissahickon; Phila.: Emmanuel; Phila.: Spring Garden; Phila.: Sanctuary; Cornwells Heights; and Thornton: Bethlehem.  He retired in 2007. 

The viewing and funeral service for Rev. Swenson will be Wednesday, July 21 at Covenant Fellowship, 1 Fellowship Drive, Glen Mills, PA 19342. The viewing will be 1:00-3:00 pm.  The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm, followed by a special time of food, fellowship and sharing. He is survived by his wife, Lois, and children, Erica, Jon, and Leah.
