Word has been received of the death of The Rev. David R. Hunsberger, Retired Full Member, who passed away on July 10, 2010.
Beginning in 1947, Rev. Hunsberger served appointments in the South NJ Conference – West Berlin and Lucaston; Paulsboro: Billingsport; Cross Keys; National Park; Pleasantville: Mt. Pleasant; Mullica Hill and Jefferson; Centerton Circle; Jacobstown Circle – and in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference – Minerville; Llewellyn; Goodwill; Morgantown; Spring City; and Mont Clare: Otterbein. He retired in 1991. After retirement, he served another six years as part-time supply at Malvern UMC (1991-1997), and another ten years as half-time chaplain at a hospital in Lansdale.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901; 215-348-5224. (Call the church for time.)
He is survived by his wife, Florence, and children: Ruth F. Groves and David R. Hunsberger Jr.
