Black Methodists for Church Renewal Resolution on Use of the "N" Word

RESOLUTION ON THE USE OF THE N WORD
Please read this resolution, which is from Black Methodists for Church Renewal, Inc., and responds to recent discussions in the United States media on the use of the “N” word. It is BMCR’s response to a need for an official statement on this matter. BMCR finds anyone's use of the word in any place, in any form, for any reason to be repugnant and psychically and socially destructive.
This resolution, along with resources, is posted on our website www.bmcrumc.org.
For questions or comments, please contact BMCR’s Advocacy Committee Chairman, Rev. John G. Corry, jcorry@mmc.edu.
