As a step toward addressing the continuing legacy and impact of racism not just in society but also in the Church, the Congregational Development Team’s next book study will be on Jemar Tisby’s book “The Color of Compromise.” The study will occur at 11 am over Zoom on the Wednesdays of October, 2023, and will be led by retired United Methodist Al Johnson. To put your money where your heart is on this topic, you are invited to get your book from bookshop.org, which allows you to use the “Choose a Bookstore” feature to select a bookstore owned by persons of color from the filter drop-down box.
