“UNITED METHODIST NIGHT AT THE PHILLIES”
Saturday, July 30, 2011
The 24th annual “United Methodist Night at the Phillies” will be July 30, 2011 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The choir from West Lawn United Methodist Church will sing the National Anthem. A United Methodist Chaplain will throw out the “First Pitch”.
The purpose of Phillies Night is fellowship among our parishioners, their friends and the people of our communities. This is a great opportunity for your church to reach out to your community by inviting them to join you. Put together a bus trip! West Lawn UMC near Reading fills five busses every year! The Phillies new stadium, with its escalators and elevators, is an easy, enjoyable evening for senior citizens – they just need transportation. Single mothers appreciate anyone who helps get them and their kids to a game. Bring kids from your community that do not have the means to attend aPhillies game. Your young adults and youth can invite their friends to a fun church function!
Contact our Phillies Sales Representative, Scott McDade, at (215) 218-5434 or email him firstname.lastname@example.org now with your order or questions on seat availability and prices. I am getting 350 tickets for my church, Jarrettown United Methodist.
Our goal this year is to sell 4,000 tickets among the Eastern Pa., Peninsula and New Jersey Conferences. If you think that that may be difficult, I point out that the Philliessold out every game last year. Your people, young and old,are going to Phillies games. This year, have them go with their United Methodist brothers and sisters!
If you have further questions, contact me through the information below. Thank you.
