The Eastern Pennsylvania 2012 Annual Conference will be held May 17-19, 2012 at the Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks, PA.

Nearly 1,000 members of The Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference met May 19-21, 2011 at the Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks, PA, with the theme, “Journeying with the Poor.”

Laity Session on the morning of May 19 featured keynote speaker, Rev. Joseph Daniels, Jr., pastor of Emory United Methodist Church in Washington D.C., who spoke on being the REAL church (relevant, enthusiastic, authentic, and loving).

2010 Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference Summary

With a theme of “Leading Beyond the Walls,” the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference met May 20-22, 2010 at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA.

Nearly 1,000 clergy and lay delegates attended, representing the conference’s 463 churches.  The morning of Thursday, May 20 began with Clergy and Laity Sessions.  The Laity began with the election of Dr. Mary White to a second four-year term as Conference Lay Leader.  Members from the Southeast District led worship, and district lay leaders led presentations on the United Methodist Four Areas of Focus.
