Welcome to the new Central District website!

The Central District is one of six districts in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church.  It is comprised of 73 churches from the heart of the City of Philadelphia to the  Reading area in Berks County.

On July 1, the Central District welcomed the Rev. Dr. Anita Adams Powell as its new superintendent.  She comes to the district after having started a new church in Kennett Square, Church of the Open Door.
